Ruh Roh, .300 Blackout JAKL in stock

This might have to replace my "trunk" gun. I won't have to worry about my lack of Blackout stockpile if it lives mostly in the "trunk". Might have to use a prism optic to handle the banging around it would get.

I'll probably wait for the FDE.

A TA33 ACOG would be perfect for that.

Which I don't. My eyes are old as dirt. They were old when I was 10.

For example, I can't do the Binden thing, maybe because 1 eye is 20/800 and the other is 20/1000 or so. I can't focus in the least on sights with both eyes open. So I would probably get a low powered Primary Arms, maybe a 2x or 3x and look through it with one eye closed. If I had any brains I would at least try to look through a prism sight before I spent the money on one.

Maybe I'll just go with a tube sight like a Romeo 5. Those are pretty tough. Something else I need to try is a red dot with a magnifier. I have a SIG MSR dot and a Juliet magnifier sitting in boxes. And I'm not going to leave a bare gun bouncing around in a steel pickup bed. It's going to be in a padded case in an ordinary car.

Oops, I forgot to put in a link.

The brace folds, so it's much shorter than my current trunk gun, a 10.5" AR. The JAKL has only an 8.5" barrel. Even with a can on it the JAKL would be shorter than my AR.
