N. ID shenanigans and Tuesday's election.....

This article was sent to me by a friend today, detailing the seedy underside of N. ID/Spokane politics and graft. Interestingly enough, being a felon, much less a three time felon, doesn't preclude one from seeking local office. It's no wonder born and bred Idahoans have snubbed Californians, they've had a good thing going and don't need those pesky conservatives messing things up.

There?s all sorts of things going on. Even up north, you have the Kootenai Republican Central Committee. But then there?s another ?Republican? group that really just RINO.

But even with KRCC, you gotta look into the candidates themselves. For PF, they have Samantha Steigleder. If you watch city council meetings, she constantly speaks up against growth. Reminds me of CA resident. But KRCC recommended her. And honestly there?s no explanation why.

Recently bought a place in Orofino (200 acres) after moving to Boise just a few years ago. The criminal element of the Panhandle of Idaho is just nervous of what the criminal element of California could bring. Mostly Post Falls and CDA folks that leap-frogged CA issues in the last 15 years.

I don't think they have anything to be worried about, personally.

We are doing an event @ Midtown Market this weekend, so I will be there. We will have staff at the Pavillion running our place. Feel free to come on down, but if you want my scintillating personality, you'll have to go downtown on 4th street next to Safeway.

Also I feel that no or slower growth is a good thing. In the three plus years we've been here, it's gone haywire with road closures/construction and overall reduction in politeness. If CA had pumped the brakes back in the 70's, it would be less of a shiffhole.

The 70s were horrible in that respect for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
HUGE housing tract developments without enough infrastructure in place first. Year round schools everywhere.

OC had policies for requiring infrastructure established first.
Few, if any, year round schools in OC in the 70s.
