Those real misters we had done work great!

Had our 100 foot covered patio done with regular commercial misters like the ones you see at outdoor restaurants etc.

The temperature outside of the patio is currently 103 degrees and inside the misters it is 76 degrees. Hard to believe it reduces the temperature that much.

We've also had them long enough to see the water usage increase and it is minimal. The only caveat I can report is if the outside humidity is above 25% then it can be a bit foggy but that's not a huge issue here. Today the humidity is 11% and it can get down to 6.

It was a bit of an investment but totally worth it.

Thats only way to go.I have to regualr cheapies and on dry days they do ok but need a good breeze to keep things from soaking.I want to do the high prssure set up.

Some said they have done the 200-300 psi ones but IMO i want to go straight to the 1200 psi ones.

      Pro install or DIY?

How does a high pressure system get the pressure so high? Electric pump? Building in Southern UT.

We had a regular mister company do the install. Hotsy Industrial in our area. They were pretty good except for the fact that the estimate person botched the electrical that was there saying "it should be only a couple of hundred." The system has a 1000 psi pump for the system, works well and has a remote control as well.

That was the only thing though. They even came back out when I asked to have the entire install angled a bit differently than originally done.

Do you have a link to the manufacturer?s website? I?d like to know what kind of power requirement does the pump need. Can it be hardwired instead of running extension cables to an electrical receptacle?

I?ve thought about doing a DYI system for our deck here in Prescott but it?s just not hot enough often enough. We settled for one of those fans you place on a five gallon bucket filled with water. [emoji41]

Sounds good like I?ve said only way to go. I am a diy guy so gonna by a kit and install. I already have a water line in attic and power close by. Will just need to find a pump location.
