I was in Vegas the other day and needed some emergency body work on my car. Found Dave?s Body Works, awesome and amazing people who were able to get the job done and it looked great. Anyways what do I see next door but M-13 Industries. I was gobsmacked. They are open to the public but by appointment only according to the sign on the door. Bummer, cause I wanted to check it out and take something home.

Everyone is always bagging on Botach, for good reasons. But they are getting better and when they do something right, it should be mentioned.

They screwed up an order. The guy that picked it for packing picked one BOX of ammo instead of one CASE that I ordered. Obviously the guy is no rocket surgeon and most people would double, triple, and quadruple check it. Who's going to order 20 rounds of ammo? The invoice clearly says CASE and "(200 rounds)" too. I was a little confused, and disappointed, when I got a package the size of a rubik's cube.

BUT, they fixed it pretty quick, and shipped me a full case within a week. That's the important part.

AAC (PSA) has a lot of different Blackout offerings now. I think it starts around 50 cents a round, which is pretty close to .223 princes.

50cpr? It?s finally coming back down then; I think I bought a small stash at about 45cpr or so a long time ago. I was going to buy some more a few months back to go with some other ammo I purchased and the cheapest .300blk was almost 70cpr.

I?ve seen the 5.56 (are those all the sugar weasels?); I don?t know I?ve wanted a honey Badger for years just because it looks like fun but if I?m going to spend that kind of money on a range toy/maaaybe home defense weapon I could be getting into HK clones, stribog, more suppressors, save up more money for a belt fed AR upper, etc. as it is I have currently redirected some of my new hunting rifle ammo for another project (but I did get a new scope for my current rifle at least).

AFAIK it's only AAC so far that's selling it for a reasonable price.

Yeah, I wanted a Rattler ever since I saw the best gun commercial in history.



It's almost certainly a Brittingham design from when he was at SIG, that closely resembles the Honey Badger. They're about $2500 too, but SIG took mercy on shooters by selling a conversion kit that goes on an ordinary AR lower. It's still damn near 2 grand, but several hundred less overall than a whole Rattler.

It's an old video, and I'm not sure his complaint about the Honey Badger mlok is valid. I thought they used Q-serts or whatever, that are low profile and will fit.
