Another difference between CA and a free state

In CA, for a $493 shoplifting loss, this woman would not have even been stopped or questioned. In ID, she was arrested and booked for grand theft, burglary, and an outstanding warrant for a failure to appear.

The incident cost both the store and the pawn shop and estimated $493 in losses. Fullmer has been taken into custody and is charged with grand theft, burglary, and an outstanding warrant for a failure to appear.

Yup, there was a high speed chase up here for a store theft. Thieves crashed, one died. Other went to jail. They don?t mess around here.

Yeah, I saw the Walmart security run outside the store here pursuing a guy who ran out with a large monitor (TV).
He caught him on the grass strip in front of the store.
          Police arrived and arrested him.
          Was entertaining

A retired LEO that lives in our neighborhood told me once that while he still worked for Tucson PD he arrested a guy that didn’t know he was in Oro Valley jurisdiction. The guy said “You can’t arrest me for that in Tucson” He said you’re not in Tucson cupcake” and busted him for shoplifting.

About a year ago, there was a porch pirate that had hit 2-3 houses in Meridian a neighbor called LE, he was caught and his ***** was thrown in jail.

Read about a week ago that car break ins are up about 40% this year. LE telling people to lock their cars and not to leave items in vehicles. I'm thinking that when the lowlifes are put in jail it will self correct. Some might be mistaking that this is CA. There will always be some crime, it's how it is dealt with.

Yep I witnessed a manager detaining a young lady for shoplifting right here in Hayden Super 1 Foods. The Sheriff showed up and arrested her.

I heard about the recent break ins. Any idea of what area in Meridian this is happening in?

Early last year, I walked into the local Academy Sporting Goods in the next town and saw a store manager, an employee, two cops, and a woman gathered off to the front side. She did not look happy. On my way out, she was cuffed and about to be driven away. Shoplifting.

There are no visible homeless people in my town, but years ago, I did see one at an intersection corner holding a cardboard sign, and two cop cars roll up. After I mailed some things at the post office, went past the corner again, no cars, no homeless dude. haven't seen one since.

Did a search for articles about the Meridian vehicle break ins and could not find an area mentioned. There was one Tuesday night/Wednesday morning mentioned back in Feb I believe where there was a string of break ins.
