SBR Form 1 - CAA MCK

Has anyone had a form 1 approved for an MCK conversion kit? . I submitted mine for a S&W Shield Plus on 2/7. Looking at multiple forums but have yet to see any approvals

It was submitted under the 120 amnesty rule. Was just wondering if anyone had been approved

          E-form(electronic application) is generally quicker.

Man I really want to like that thing but I can't get over that weird grip, mag holder, flash light, tumor looking thing protruding from the front.

As bad as it looks, the ergos work great.

Normal eform 1's are about 40 days. No clue on the amnesty nonsense.

Did you use the atf fingerprint paper or your local sheriff's?

Finally received my approval from the ATF. It took 70 days. It's approved with conditions and you don't receive a stamp.

So my smith & season shield plus is now an SBR when inserted into the MCK conversion kit..once removed it magically turns back into a standard pistol again

FYI: the pistol, being the serialized component, is an SBR whether in the enclosure or not. Be aware of this if transporting the pistol to another state.

There's a guy that 3-D prints a gadget that's much more compact than a chassis. It has the optic mounted on the "frame" like most chassis, which tends to make it easier to shoot because it doesn't move with the slide.

This guy generally gives away the 3-D files.
