Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

Anyone make it to the gun show? Any good finds? Do they sell beef jerky at these gun shows?
I was going to go, but I just had my left hip replaced almost two weeks ago and didn't think I could do all that much walking there. I hope to be able to go to the next gun show.

It was a good show. Bought some smalls, and made an offer on a rifle that was turned down. Saw a couple of great hunting rifles for give-away prices, but another hunting rifle is the last thing I need.

I went. Sold my CZ 457. Found an old RCBS Rock Chucker press that had a cast aluminum primer catch tray. Something I’ve never seen before. It came home with me. I saw a pretty nice 1911 Colt Commander in satin nickel but it was priced too high for what I thought it was worth. There was a huge Ruger display that was very impressive.

Yes, that Ruger display was worth the price of admission all by itself.

                  Boise gun show?.

I picked up a 1968 W49 western bowie and an auto 9 corp (parma idaho) .22 in a pre-arraigned sale at the show. We have 3 shows next month, Boise, Marsing, & Caldwell. Saw some decent milsurp but didn?t buy any of it. My buddy got a cherry walther PP with capture papers.

There?s always going to be a few tables of non gun sellers peddling jerky, jam, cheese, religion, and raffle tickets, especially at the big Ford idaho center show. They?re easy to walk past though. ?Want to try a cheese sample?? No thank you, got any guns for sale??? Smile, continue walking.

Congrats! You finally found one! Fascinating historical context with the auto nine. Could well be a very valuable collector's item one day.

Thanks buddy. Yea it?s a cherry little example. Very nicely made internal hammer .22 mouse gun.

On a side note, I?m not drunk posting here. For some reason with the new server migration and using tapatalk on my phone, i?m getting weird punctuation added to my posts. Mostly question marks.

I like the jam guy - good stuff, and I usually buy a jar on the way out.
