    Bone in rib roast $4.97/lb

The Super1 in CDA at US95 and Kathleen has bone-in rib roast in a bag (approx 20+lbs) for $4.97 per pound! Limit 1. From what I understand it is only this Super1.

Dang it, I was just around the corner yesterday.

Going to do a Tri Tip on the charcoal BBQ though. Got some oak briquets and have some California red oak to go pick up tomorrow. Santa Maria Style (ish).

I see that here as well
In a bone in, what percentage of total weight is meat?

Not sure and I had that question myself. However, at 80% that would only be $6.25/lb which is less than what I had to pay for the last rib eye steaks that I purchased. Might go get another one tomorrow if they are still on sale. They are just south of Black Sheep and I need to stop by there to see if they have the Sig P365 Custom Works FCU in stock.

It’s good to know percentage of meat to total in order to figure out how nany pounds to get to feed a certain number of people.
                    Five pounds, four people?
