    Almost done preparing for snow

Finishing up installing snow plow, heated grips, heated seat, block heater, dual batteries, horn, mirrors, (to make it street legal) on my Kaw 650 ATV. It will be fun moving snow this year. Light snow today in Idaho Falls.

I love the beauty of a sunny morning seeing the valley floor and mountains blanketed in white.
Just hate clearing it and driving in white out conditions…
      Especially at night

      Comes with the territory

Finished my preps 32 years ago.

Checked to see if the wall heater worked. It did, smelled like dead spiders so I turned it back off.

I can see Mexico and the Pacific from my balcony so it all works out.
        It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

Most aren’t that bothered by CA politics.

Some of us lifer CA natives just got fed up.
              Some moved to warmer climes.
Some moved to more conservative colder climes.
The snow is an occasional issue.
The slime ball liberals are a constant issue.

I did a dance for joy in Primm on my way out.

Some can’t wait to get back to CA.

              We’re happy, they’re happy.

Could be an early winter in Boise; I think I saw a few snowflakes mixed into the rain we got earlier this week. I remember years back that SLC got hit with a blizzard on Halloween.

We used to see the pacific from our previous north coast Ca home. We used to spend a month or two in your area in the winter to escape the rain over the last 15 years. We stopped visiting San Diego a few years ago after it became filthy, unsafe, over populated and over priced and now travel to Florida during the winter. Very sad they destroyed such a beautiful area.

I'm going to be plowing with my tractor this year, but unfortunately no cab on it. I need to pick up a set of chains for it but North 40 didn't have them last time I was in. Horse shelter is built and hay put up for the winter. I'm still working on firewood. I have about 2 cords split and stacked but I'll put at least 2 more up in the next month.

If you're near Athol, I have a bunch of chains from Semis that you could cut down and make work, or at least lay them out if you get stuck.

Seriously, I have a big azz pile of them you can pick through.
