    FFL03 worth keeping?

In Commiefornia, I got me FFL03+COE to buy ammo online.

Now that I'm in Kentucky, is the FFL03 worth renewing?

In the current climate, I'm not certain I want to give the ATF an excuse to come to my home. But it might be nice to spend some cash on some old guns.

    Thoughts?

How else do you use the 03?

Does it serve a purpose now?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

You can have C&R pistols and long guns mailed directly to your door step.

You get discounts at big online stores that sell C&Rs or other items (businesses will give you their FFL dealer discounts. )

The atf can only inspect what you have collected in your bound book. You can request it be done at their office instead of your home. Do what I do. Let your license expire. Wait a few weeks and reapply for a new license. Why do I do this? So i don’t have to keep a 6+ year old bound book. I start a fresh one every license.

Let your COE expire. Don’t apply for one. California will use every reason to consider you a resident of the state.

I let mine go Sept 1, in New Mexico (an open carry loaded as well as loaded vehicle carry state). No waiting period, LGS 4 miles away and the longest wait is when NICS gets backed up. If I have anything shipped to them for transfer/NICS total Fee? $15!!!!! No point in having to log in and out firearms.
Actually, nothing left on my want list in the C&R category, plus will start selling off some stuff.

It just depends on what you do with it. It is a "collector" license. Are you a collector? Would you search online for C&R guns that you may not find locally? Frequently? Or do you travel to other states and might find guns to pick up there? If none of those things, then probably the 03 is unnecessary. You don't have to have an 03 to buy old guns. Only if you want to bypass an 01 when doing so. If there's a convenient/cheap way to do so, near where you live, then it may not be worth it at all. Or if you are only going to get a couple, don't bother. I'm the opposite of aghauler right now, there's very little "modern" I'm interested in that I don't already have, so I keep the 03 (still have to deal with CA nonsense, but I use the 03 enough to be worth it).

I used mine for ammo deliveries only in CA.

            Not renewing.

I believe if Dems gain full control FFLs will be the first to get raided.
              Regardless of “official” laws

Easiest initial targets. All their records and personal arms
