Perks in a free state that you would never find in CA................................

    I'll go first...

Guns, ammo, and suppressors of course!!!

    But the GA DMV!!!!!

so you pay an initial tax based on the value of the car (the 7 series and my 3500 were $2700, combined)....then your registration is a flat fee of $20 per year.

But if you are a veteran, no $20 fee for you.

Kentucky is weird, there is no real DMV. There are regional driver's license issuing offices that are scattered across the state. I'm living near a small town so the nearest office is almost 40 miles a way. Vehicle registration is done by getting your vehicle inspected by the local sheriff and the registration is then issued by the county clerk.

Wait - you have to pay tax on the value of an already owned used car when you register it? Or am I misreading this?

No Arizona state taxes on retirement money.

        DMV easy as can be.

Utility cost about 1/4 of what PG&E was.

        Water the same as above.

Guns and ammo was already mentioned but with your CCW here no waiting for a background check.

Weather nice most of the year and the ladies dress for it.

Utah... trailers under 700 lbs do not need license or registration. At least in Utah County, no permits needed for outbuildings up to 12'x24'. I'm building my wife a 12x24 greenhouse with earth battery climate control.

A GOP supermajority (NO mask or any other local mandates allowed) and practically no state gun control.
Carry even IN schools and in our international airport.

NV, no state income tax. High vehicle registration unless you are a registered vet, Clark county adds on taxes to the DMV registration. Fee is 33 bucks for my car and 61 bucks for the add on's. Vets don't pay the add on. Have to get the car smoged every year, just plug in and visual inspection. Average price is 20 dollars. Better highways, better parks. More food places to eat. You can use you pool more than 2 months a year. Most places give either a vet or senior citizen discount. Some places give a local's discount. You can carry a loaded handgun in your car, under the seat, on the dashboard, in the glovebox but not hidden on your person unless you have a CCW. NV is a shall issue state. You can carry long guns with loaded mags, not chambered. in you car. The biggest perk living in NV is, it aint CA.

I think the biggest perk is all my neighbors vote like me. Red. The few Democrats here keep their mouths shut for the most part.
Other thing is school. My kid had no problem with pro gun essays.

My mom lives in Chicago. She can't say anything Republican without some neighbor complaining. same as it was in California for me.
Friendly neighbors. I could sit in the driveway and drink with them. We all look out for each other.even had a group text so we could alert each other to issues in the area.

This is one of the big perks. In 2020, I, along with many others, wore MAGA hats around town.

As mentioned, no background checks on gun purchases for LTC carriers. PPT need no FFLs. And of course access to everything gun related. LTC fee (License to Carry)- 40 bucks, carry any gun you choose.

DMV fees- $76. Lower cost of living. No state income tax.

NOBODY wears masks in my neck of the woods.

Republican Governor, Lt. Governor, A.G., etc. R majority in state house, senate, U.S. House, U.S. Senate.

Much nicer citizens. Very good looking women in my neck of the woods.
