    Garbage bliss

My neighbor's 5 year old is fascinated with garbage trucks. He waits all day for the garbage truck, when it arrives, the driver gets out and lets the boy operate the controls to dump their can.

Cool story, a little old time America. Back when people took the time to make a kid smile. Not argue about killing babies and putting boys in dresses.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

That's cool. Good on that driver for allowing that kiddo to enjoy it.

When I drove Roll-Offs kids would go bananas watching the truck do it's thing. I would invite them over to play with the outside controls to make the bed raise and lower and very few would take the opportunity.

The good old days when something as simple as a trash truck would just blow a kids mind.

That’s funny my nephew’s Son has the same fascination. We sent him a remote control garbage truck. It was a hit. Kudos to that driver for remembering what it’s like to be a kid.

That's a wonderful gesture by the driver, who is taking time to brighten a young man's day. As a mechanical engineer, I confess to the same fascination with the auto-side loading garbage trucks - when they first appeared in Boise, I used to run outside to see them in action!
