First Monsoon Of The Season Oro Valley AZ

Wasn't as dramatic as most. Plenty of water and lightning though so it was fun to watch.

Funny how fast the desert just soaks up that water.

Had a pretty good micro burst storm here, lots of rain mixed with 1/4” hail. I love monsoon season.

Nothing in Prescott except more humidity and a nice breeze.

I too love heavy weather. Especially Lightning.

We had our first several days ago, but it wasn't a very heavy rain.

Just had a few drops. Evaporated as soon as it hit the grown.

Skunked in Prescott except for a few light sprinkles

After the damaging hail storm we had last year, I can't say I'm looking forward to the full-on monsoon this year. I've previously looked so forward to the lightening and thunder shows.

It was a awesome storm. We has golf ball flat hail at our place. It was pretty scary. Though the skylights were going to shatter.

We are out near Willow Creek.

Lightning is something I definitely do not like. I've seen it blow up very expensive computers too many times over the years.

Yes. Yavapai Hills. We got it bad. Year or two before, Lamb Chevrolet got it. Messed up their inventory.

I drove through the housing area in the Dells on the N side of 89 a few days after the storm. It looked like a war zone...tarps covering broken skylights, plywood covering broken windows.

I made the mistake last year of not turning back from a hike when a gentle rain started. It turned to a harder rain with thunder and close lightning. I never wanna do that again.

I have a friend who lives there...he needed a roof after that storm.
