Ha, what timing. MrGunsnGear just posted a 45 Super video, shot with his Mk23.

My Octane was surprisingly quiet on a Glock. It sure doesn't like being on the Glock though, because it was constantly trying to unscrew itself. Wonder if a Rugged piston will work on a SilencerCo...

Aha, found this on teh intarwebs:
Rugged advertises that their pistons are built to the same spec as the legacy SilencerCo pistons. It's actually a selling feature of the Rugged Obsidian line.
Supposedly the guy that designed Ruggeds designed SilencerCo's. Where does the o-ring go?

Outstanding always great when a purchase meets or exceeds our expectations, especially when you got to wait a long while for it.

How many rounds did you fire with it, I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to suppressors. Are long hundreds of rounds fired range days a go, or do you have to limit the rounds fired while suppressed for whatever reasons.

It depends on the can. Some are rated for full-auto, some are not. True to their name, Rugged has zero restrictions on how you shoot them.

I'll letcha shoot a couple cans if you show me your super secret range.

My analysis phase is much simpler.

                1. Is it cheap?
                2. Does it get good reviews?

Thanks for the detailed info, actually learned a lot from it.

Sig nothing secret or special about it, just BLM land near where I live. Still no fire restrictions as of this morning, but I’m expecting it sooner or later.

If I can get to it in a 2wd car, it's still better than anything near me.
