This is a great event put on by an outstanding organization! It's an amazing opportunity to see belt-fed auto weapons in action. Especially considering the cost of ammo!

Went to the Machine Gun Shoot IAWCA had April 2nd.

There was a lot of cool stuff being shot.
Thompson's, Uzi's, Sten's ect.

Then drove out to the hills past the range and shot whistle pigs.

Got there a little late, and the weather was crappy. It was over when we got there. Maybe not many folks showed up, not sure.
Ended up going in a bay and shooting my suppressed pistol for a bit then headed home.

That sounds more like a demonstration than a match.

It was a pretty light showing due to the weather. It was suppose to go until 1430 but was over by 1130.

We got there as the last competitor was setting up to fire. The M60 and the water cooled 1928 Colt were very cool to see, but I really liked seeing that MG34 run.

Do you know what kind of subgun the one guy was shooting that cracked something?
