Can't speak for AZ, but in TN there's really no place as active online like CalGuns. We have TGO (TN gun owners) but it has about 1/10 the traffic if that. I think the difference is out here we can advertise guns for sale all over the place and do deals locally so people use Facebook (discreetly), Armslist, and Eastman Chemical Classifieds. We also have gun shows about every two weeks with actual guns and cash/carry in the parking lot outside the show is VERY common. You can probably post your stuff for sale in your local paper as well.
I think you'll find the same vibe there.Buy made in USA whenever possible. -
Gun Broker, else you go to individual Forums like Smith and Wesson Forum, Beretta Forum, Sig or HK Forums. They too have market places on their websites.I completed my escape a few months ago. My intention was to sell off a pile of my off-roster goodies prior to leaving, but I discovered CA’s recent ridiculous five-sales-per-year rule so was only able to clear my safe of about a dozen toys.
Now that I’m well settled in AZ I’m considering selling more off anyway. I’ve been looking on the ‘net but can’t find any AZ-specific sites having a marketplace area like the one here on CalGuns.
Any clues from those who have fled before me?
Thanks,
Tom.Last edited by Harry Ono; 12-23-2021, 1:54 PM.Comment

The Sporting Goods section in the Phoenix classifieds often has two full columns of guns for sale. But yes, nothing beats calguns marketplace for reach, and free. Little crap, like a pair of grips, there's no better place to buy or sell. Nobody wants to spend 25 bucks to go to a gun show to look for a $15 set of grips.Comment

I have a few I regularly look at. Arizonashooting.org has already been mentioned but these are better in my opinion:
The guns, ammo & knives classifieds website in Arizona to buy, sell or trade new & used firearms, ammunition & more online for FREE.

I thought in Arizona they sold guns at swap meets. Have Politicians been lying to me again??Only slaves don't need guns

Not nearly as active as Calguns, though."Bye Felicia!" - Said by me, as I looked at Kalfornia in my rearview for the last time, 9/22/17.

I do Arizona Gunowners (https://arizonagunowners.com/) and while the traffic is low, it seems to be the closest to Calguns in content and I've bought a couple of guns off there. However, I've bought more through the local paper classified ads and garage sales. Where are you located? Your local paper might be a painless way to move some along.Comment

big no on swap meets. ATF has been cruising them a lot in the last few years. The y have been issuing letters to guys with as few as 1 gun on a table saying they cannot offer guns for sale in public. Has to be prearranged otherwise its dealing without a license.sigpic

Sounds like another regulation made up on the spot without being codified.
At any rate, I doubt there's an AFT slug within 50 miles of my small town.Comment

Do you have anything on what law/code they are saying is being broken? Maybe a copy of the letter?Comment
