Well I made it out, perhaps just in time

I made it out of Cali, though still have some possessions in storage there. Moved to Miami OK, a small city in the northeast corner of OK, close to Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas, places I am eager to learn about.
There are some aspects to life in OK which may not be as easy to deal with as in Cali; one thing is supplemental health insurance, another is a super high sales tax rate, basically 10%, the town supplied water does not taste good at all, and I am sure I will encounter more.
Of course the firearms situation is light years better than in Cali and that, and the politics were two of the factors in my move. Of course, wildfires are another factor to consider along with the power company's "Public Safety Power Shutoffs".

The heart of the Cherokee Indian Territory. I may have to register my cars at your house if our friends ever move out of their place near Claremore. Her tribal plates require an address in the Cherokee area.

Might consider having the water tested.

Well, you had the gumption to move out of the PRK, so I congratulate you on that.
Good luck in your new home.

            Congratulations!
And welcome to United States of America! (Finally).
            Enjoy your freedoms.
As far as I know, the states of OK and MO have bilateral agreement allowing MO residents constitutional carry rights while visiting OK.
Not sure how it works the other way around, but I assume full reciprocity.

OK, Mizzou, AR, KS, TX, all constitutional carry around him. He's in gun heaven.

Congrats OP, you'll get used to the differences.

I grew up in Owasso so I'm familiar with the area. I wouldn't consider Miami as a first choice, but I'm biased.

The one thing you need to discover is the lakes. There are so many within 2 hours of you it's not even funny. You can fish from the bank or get a boat and really have fun.

Congrats on your freedom! OSU > OU

Look like they could use some infrastructure upgrades.

The weight you feel lifted when finally living in a real part of what all of the USA should be is amazing.

Congrats on escaping. Whatever you may encounter or have to adjust to, just remember you are no longer in Cali. THAT is the most important thing.

                      Being north of
70 has definite advantages: I was able to do all my stupid stuff before video cameras, smartphones, utube, and the internet.
