We’ve had several strong storms this month, lots of hail warnings but haven’t been hit by any yet just strong rain storms. Sat out on the back patio tonight watching the storm in the distance, thought it might head our way but instead went northwest towards Tucson. Maybe they got some hail out of it, better them then us I’m fine with the melted hail.

We did the same, sat outside and watched the storm. Most of the lightning was pretty distant this time but we got a good downpour about 9:30 last night. A couple of times this month we've received tornado warnings on our home alarm panel.

I never sit outside during storms where I am. You know the kid trick where you count how many seconds between lightning flash and thunder? When you can't even get to 1, and the ground shakes, the strike is basically just down the block.

That’s a good thing. I mean, in order to have hail you have to have cold air right?

I guess we go against some people as both my wife and I love the weather here. On average it is a bit hotter than where we used to live but not enough for us to complain.

With monsoon season, yes the humidity goes up but during the times when the humidity is 4-6% that's our favorite weather.
