Made my first free state gun purchase

In a Loves gas station parking lot, picked up a gently used CZ P-10c with four mags, 2 plus two extensions, True Glow TRX-Pro sights, Talon grips and a Kydex holster for $560.00. Had to drive a bit to get it, but worth it, seller was a great guy and knew his guns.

I go on the az gun buy site too see some good deals at times.Missed out on a 365 for 500 bucks a couple months ago was gone and didnt get home in time to buy it.

Loves truck stop could have got some good jerky while there too.

Darn forgot the jerky, but did grab a mango bang for the drive home. There are good/fair deals like I got and the one you missed out on, but there are gougers too. Of course most are located in the Phoenix area and I’m not, so got to really want it and the price right to be worth the drive.

Yes it is, the way it should be. Show the seller your valid AZ drivers lic, inspect the gun, hand him the cash, shake hands and leave with your new property.

It is interesting, some sellers will want to see a CCW and your voter ID card and will only sell to you if it says Republican. I like that.

It's somewhat common out here to ask for a TN CCW, but we don't bother with voter ID because there are no democrats where I live. The CCW is an easy way to know that you aren't selling to a prohibited person, and even though that's not a burden the seller has to prove it does provide a little peace of mind. Usually a seller will just put "TN CCW preferred" or something like that.

2 years ago I bought a S&W Model 41 from an Idaho parole officer in the parole parking lot. I checked out the pistol as the PO counted the money. Painless.
