    Eastern Idaho Builder

Just entered escrow on a 10 acre parcel, 50 percent wooded and creek front. Looking for good builder. Any recommendations?

I'd spend more time thinking about a well, septic, soil perc rates, power etc before picking a builder. You might have crappy water or soil that doesn't percolate. Start there first.

My Idaho builder did all that for prior to starting the house.

The real estate agent should have some recommendations.

                  Yep.

My BIL just drilled a $30K dry hole looking for water on his Idaho land. Went 1200 feet.

                  Now what?

How many of those before you quit?

Thanks. This was former farm land. There are 11 lots in the subdivision. Three lots, including next door, have septic system in and well producing at 140 feet and my lot is downhill from them so not worried about septic or well. My new neighbor has been waiting 3 years for his builder to start and it looks like he will start in 2022 and my realtor said there is a 24 month waiting list with anyone he can refer me to so I am looking now for someone good so I can get on a waiting list.
