    For all the naysayers

This is for all the morons that keep saying "Idaho is the new California"

Another pro constitutional rights piece of legislation just past here retroactive to 20 Jan.....

BOISE (AP) — Idaho Gov. Brad Little has signed legislation aimed at thwarting a half-dozen executive actions by President Joe Biden to combat gun violence. The new law came less than a week after a shooting at an eastern Idaho middle school injured two students and a custodian. The Republican governor on Monday signed the […]

You do realize that Idaho has had ALL 3 houses of government solid red since 94?
And the state voted a higher percentage red than in 2016?

Did you even read the article?
Idaho is trending more in the opposite direction of what you claim every year....

You sir, are one of the naysayers of which I speak.

Idaho politics is COMPLETELY different than Nevada's.

If I had $1 for every "political expert" on Calguns that thinks that Idaho's citizens and government are the same as that of any other state, I'd buy another house.

I's recommend spending a couple of weeks here and see for yourself.

I'm not an expert either, but I know I can get a private appointment with my House and/or Senate reps in a day or two. Idaho seems to me to become a bit more RED every year, and we'll celebrate 21 years here mid-July.

You can assume that due to college locations and long term California money that Teton and Blain counties will always be liberal, as will the Moscow/CDA area, and parts of Boise.

                How do you know this?
I saw on the news the CA population went down for the first time this year, that is bad news for any other state.
Only if it is the libtards who are leaving.
I gave NV as an example because I have seen first hand what happens when the invaders show up. NV was once a solid red state too. Now there are more Californians in Nevada than native born Nevadans and it is showing. I hope I'm wrong and ID continues to be a mostly free state. In my opinion the CA cancer is spreading to other states, quickly.
I was not retarded when I lived in CA but may have been a little bit slow for not moving to Idaho sooner. In no way have I brought any liberalism with me. In fact, I think that ID should be closed to those who are not bringing at least 2 AR style rifles with them along with proof that they have not been registered as a Dem within the last 20 years. Is that Red State enough for you?

I was also told that ADA county picked up two red seats in the last election too. More red votes moving into the purple and blue areas.

LOL do you even KNOW how many Californians have moved to ID since 1994?

                    here's an except.

The Idaho Department of Labor analyzed statistics provided by the Census Bureau between July 2017 and July 2018. Many from across the western U.S. moved to Idaho, led by California and followed by former residents of Washington and Utah.

MORE: Idaho ties Nevada for fastest-growing state, U.S. Census Bureau numbers show

In that time range, 21,372 people from California moved to Idaho. In comparison, 5,626 people left the potato state and moved to California.

The net increase from California accounted for nearly 60 percent of all net migration into Idaho.

Yep... Just a matter of TIME.

So explain why the percentage of Republican voters in the last three presidential elections has increased year by year.

Teachers are still heavily liberal and education is going more and more that way, give it one more generation of brainwashed kids, they will soon be old enough to vote and riot. And looking at the voter registration statistics, Democrats are growing at a higher percentage rate than Republicans. People that identify as religious is dropping pretty sharply among other things. It is a Great Place to live right now, but unless something changes, it will be blue in the next 10 to 20 years. As I think most of our red states will as well, Texas, Alaska. Many red states being flooded by biden with countless immigrants that are being groomed to be democrats.

                          Howie44, that’s awesome news!

The new law is retroactive to Jan. 20, the day Biden was sworn in as president. It prevents all Idaho government entities from enforcing executive orders, federal laws, treaties, agency orders and rules of the U.S. government involving firearms, firearm components, firearm accessories or ammunition that conflict with the Idaho Constitution.
For the other posters saying certain states (Idaho and TX come to mind) are going to flip because CA is flooding their state, I’m not completely sold on that idea. Are the majority of people leaving liberal CA, Dems or Republicans? I would think more Republicans have had enough and decided to leave. To liberals, CA is still paradise. Time will tell.

The percentage of Democrat voters there is growing faster than repubicans if going by the percentage of people registering as democrat or republican. Sure there are more republicans but there are also more democrats. Republicans grew 10% between 2018 and 2019, Democrats grew 12%.

Some of my brothers and sisters from my former dept. (LASD) who moved there upon retirement have stated Boise is basically a very liberal city. How does that jibe with your statement about only parts are liberal. Asked with respect as I'm wondering. Thanks.
