North Idaho Folks: Looking to buy a safe, where?

I'm looking to purchase a safe in the greater CDA area. Any recommendations on where to look / go?

Tractor Supply puts Liberty safes on sale a time or two per year. You can custom order with a SG manual lock if you want, and you can do the whole thing online as well. There are also local (Idaho) safe makers as well..

I was gonna say, tractor supply sells liberty safes for ridiculously lower prices than sportsman’s warehouse for some reason. Don’t know if they have a special arrangement with Liberty or just lower markup.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

D&b sells Rhino safes. That's what I'm getting.

Iron Man Safes in Dalton Gardens. Quality, local made safes with S & G locks. Very reasonable safe moving rates too.

I've been looking for a bigger safe. Gonna have to check out the Iron Man info.

So I spent a couple of weeks trying to find a safe. Even called the local Liberty dealer (in Spokane). Safes are pretty much sold out everywhere. A local lock/key/safe place said the same for Iron Man. Looking at 2 to 3 months for any possible inventory. Ended up getting a Liberty safe from North 40 in CDA. They had a few in stock. I was also told they sell out of them pretty quick.

On a side note, talked to a couple of guys that deliver safes. They said they've never been this busy. Their theory was that all new gun owners hear is to be safe and lock up guns, so these folks are buying safes as well.

I also checked out Tractor Supply, they had a couple of Liberty safes, but seemed to have less inventory than North 40.

A new safe retailer opened in Del Mar a few months ago. They are called Spartan Safe and they are a chain of safe retailers based out of North Carolina. They have ten stores, but the Del Mar store is the only store this side of the Mississippi.

They are a big Liberty Dealer and have good prices on that brand. They have a good website and you can order from it. I contacted them a few weeks ago and asked them about stock. The salesman told me five to six weeks. I asked if there was any way to get one sooner and he had a Liberty Colonial 50 and I bought in over the phone and it was installed three days later.

I don't know why this company picked Del Mar for their west coast expansion, but it demonstrates people are looking to secure things better in these times.

I've decided that multiple small safes are more secure than one big one, unless you buy one of those really expensive ones. Check my reasoning; Harder to break into multiple safes than one.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

Not sure how Liberty handles dealers if at all, but Al's Pawn in Nampa has been a Liberty dealer for awhile and Independence Indoor Shooting in Meridian is a Liberty dealer now as well. Back in early January both shops received their shipments of safes, they didn't know what all they would be getting and sold all in a couple of days. I was looking for a Colonial 30, but pulled the trigger when Al's told me they had just received a Colonial 50.

When they delivered the owner mentioned he had just been down to the factory in UT and that they were trying to hire 70 people but couldn't find em. UT has pretty low unemployment. The Liberty website at the time was quoting a 20 week lead time for safes
