Another 14 days, another stamp . . .
Since the flow of new PDW/PCC/large frame handguns, whatever you call it, has slowed, I can start converting the older ones into SBR. So I started with the ol' Sig Rattler.
Since I've had it a while, I've had a chance to buy a couple of stocks that I liked. J-Mac has some new good looking ones, but I've sunk my money into the factory ones.
Stock pistol form:

"Kate Moss" MCX stock:

Current Rattler SBR stock:

I honestly think the Kate Moss feels best from the length of pull and for its cheek weld. The cheek weld is still not ideal with the full height riser on the MRO, but I'll try lower risers soon.
The current SBR stock is good looking and is very compact but the length does not matter once it is folded. The toe is a bit shorter, making it hard to hold it high without bending your neck. It's a bit lighter than the Kate Moss, and the weight balance is good.
The stock brace offers a poor cheekweld and gives the shortest length of pull. It is usable when traveling out of state, however.
Which one looks good to you?
