    CHL (CCW) in Texas

The great thing about getting your concealed license in Texas, the class portion can now be done online.... The local range instructor already contacted me for the range instruction and qualification portion so I didn't even have to look for one, they found one for me.... Talk about efficient!

Congratulations! The DPS (state) application can be done online as well and takes a few weeks to receive your card.

Waaayyy better than the 15 months it took me to get my Alameda County CCW.

Even better. A Texas CHL is a blanket license. Go to your safe and pick out what ever you feel like packing today. Doesn't even have to be your gun, just can't be stolen. CHL looks just like your DL, uses the same photo. BOTH of mine say "VETERAN" on them.
