Who wants to shoot? My private range outside Phoenix.

It's gonna be hot soon so I'd like to get a range meet before we start melting down here.

    I'm thinking 10am-whenever.
Day does not matter to me. I can stop work any day.

All I as is for a small donation to enjoy the range. $10 per person. Covers my gas and food and repairs to the range.

Bring anything you want. Tannerite is fine. Too dry now for tracers though.

I'll have machine guns available for rental. No obligation. I just don't own any semi autos. You can bring your own guns of course and just shoot your stuff.

For those practicing social distancing I can make a requirement that we all wear n95 masks but I don't think it is needed.

Here is recent video we did last weekend on the AREX Delta.

It's cool in the morning and the desert is about 5f less than cities. Might be rough on the high elevation guys but I can run and gun in 110f.

I'd be more afraid of a lawsuit should someone get hurt . . .

Do you have a time frame? I'm down 100% for any day in June but it might be too hot. Also, whereabouts is the range located?

              Seriously,
Thank you for the extremely generous offer.

I don't think I'll be making it but I do appreciate what you're offering very much.

June is not bad for me. BUt would be better to get there by 7am if oyu want to shoot a few hours. It is cold in the morning but by noon it gets toasty. The body does not notice it so I always make sure everyone is drinking water

I really don't care. I'm sure folks are getting cabin fever by now even in Az where there are no movement restrictions. I am. I take my son out shooting every weekend now just to get him some air and to move around more. Anyone is welcome to head my way Saturday or SUnday to go shoot with 2 days notice.

My range is located near the Vulture Mountains west of Wittman, AZ. US rte 60 between Phoenix and Vegas is the closest main road and how I access the land.

There are hundreds of thousands of acres of offroad trails near my property with caves scattered inthe area. We sometimes offroad a bit after we shoot.

This is mainly for therapy now. My rates typically are $300/day to rent my range. I'm just trying to give back while I am gettign my own therapy. Bring a metal detector, kite, hammock, whatever and just enjoy the clean air. Shooting not required.

I don't even know how people exist in such places. It's so hot there that whenever I went down there, I would turn the water on and it never even got cold. The radiant heat on the pavement was so intense that water never got cold in the pipes. This was during spring and summer. You are a very special bunch of people that live down there. Very hardy.

They have electricity there. Cold water comes out of the refrigerator, not the tap.

                          We leave in the summer.

Think about it. The entire country vacations in the summer. Most stay home. Mainly because a typical vacation in 2-3 weeks. We do 1-2 months. I work hard all winter so I have funds for summer. We are rarely home June and July. But when we are there is air conditioning and a pool. Plus the more time I am here the more I like the heat. As I age I need more heat. We were shooting last weekend in 97f temps. Felt fine. But if it is below 75 I'm cold.

I turn the hot water heater off in July. Only way to have water that is not 100f.

I don't like working outside when it is over 120. My buddy can. We work on our gun ranges sometimes but I spend most of the time complaining and let him do all the work. He likes the heat even more.

A friend of mine has lived in Phoenix since the '80's. He hardly ever turns on his a/c. I don't know how he does it. Extreme heat bothers me but I can handle 100-105. Californians that complain about that are being disingenuous. Marin County and San Jose, as well as SoCal, are no strangers to 100+ in the summer.
