This is our first winter in North Idaho. We are disappointed that we didn't get more snow to be honest. I think you'd be surprised to find that it isn't really that bad. Certainly nothing like the Northeast or North Dakota snow. We've had many days here in the panhandle that were warmer this winter than the Bay Area. Just don't let any progressive types know the secret...we want them to think this is the tundra so they continue not wanting to come here.

Cotay, you will get snow, don't worry about that! This winter was extremely mild.

That being said, population centers in idaho are generally in valleys that have decent weather.

Today the Idaho state Senate just voted and passed HB516. All that awaits is the Governor’s signature and we will have Constitutional carry of concealed handguns for ALL legal Americans 18yo and older.

This allows visitors, or those such as military family members, college students etc who aren’t residents of Idaho to conceal carry a handgun in rural or city limits without a government permission slip. Idaho residents already enjoy constitutional carry in the state, now all legal Americans will once the Governor signs it.

A lot of work, emails, phone calls, and lobbying went into getting this legislation through, especially given our nations current crisis.

I will update once the Governor signs it and it becomes law.

It will become law whether or not the Governor signs...remember Otter just before he retired. i don't see a veto as even a very remote possibility.

The normal "sine' die" day is sometime in the week before Easter...I'd like and have told my legislators we need us some property tax relief...crickets chirping so far.
