Im in a gun slump

moved to NV in 2015 - since then i've purchased 11 handguns, 3 rifles and one shotgun - some probably CA off roster, some maybe not, not real sure

anyway now i've reached a point where nothing seems to interest me - i was pretty excited when i heard about Colt going back into production with the Colt King Cobra but, to me, after researching it and seeing some review im pretty disappointed with it - I had a King Cobra in the late 80's but gave it to my brother for protection - at that time they were plentiful i just never bought another one - sigh

either way, nothing seems to be lighting up my radar right now and i've went long periods of time without buying a new firearm before - between my Beretta Cheetah and my Beretta 92 it was like 8 years between purchases

im in a gun slump - nothing floats my boat at the moment - a Walther stainless P5 would be nice but it looks like the stars are gonna have to align before i find a decent deal on one of those

anyone else ever go long periods without any interest with what's out there?

im constantly looking at new models too, nothing seems to grab my attention

Sounds like you need a new hobby, one that might require a new gun or two. Clays are fun and there are (well, a few) women. Plus, it's still pretty socially acceptable, even with our left leaning brethren. Cowboy can be fun and the new .22 mini prs stuff sounds like a blast.

With all the awesome new guns that have come out you're in a slump? WTF! I lived in Utah for 2.5 years the only thing that stopped me was just money.

You're in a slump because there is really no threat to your gun ownership or very little.

you don't always have to buy new guns.

just visit the range more with the guns you do have and get proficient with them.
