20 years ago today i enlisted in the Army Reserves. yep i'm a reservist so what. not many people i know can do this for 20 years.

it has been a fast 20 years. and i have many more before i can retire. my job requires Reserve membership.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

Wow, congratulations! Military life isn't an easy one sometimes wither its guard, reserve or AD. I know allot of retirees and i asked one the other day if it was all worth it, he looked at me and said " after 24 years, i was brain dead." are you going to keep going retire?

Congratulations on your 20 years in service Chris. Active, Reserve or Guard, it's no longer a cake walk.

Thank you for 20 years of professionalism, dedication and trail blazing so others may have the privilege of serving their Country and the ones who choose not to serve may sleep under the blanket of freedom you help provide.

Thanks for the 20 years serving.
What job requires you be Reserve?

My Dad did 38 1/2 USAR.
He always had a poster in our den of a reservist holding a baby that said something like "it'll pay for his college"
          I kinda liked that poster.
And, that's how my dad did help my sister and I in college.

That is awesome, the only thing I stuck with for 20 years is my wife.

              Thank you for you service.

On Oct 2nd it will be 20 years since I got out of the Navy and I am finally de-classified.

(No more informing the Dept of State every time I leave the country, no more asking permission to go to China, etc. WooHoo!)

it may be a bit longer than that. since my job requires me to be in the Reserves i will be in for get this 43 years. to retire at 60. that is a long time. hopefully it may change before that. but that is the amount of time i have to be in to stay at my job til 60.

                              Frank,

I'm a day early. Anyway, I'd like to know,

                              1. Were you on an attack or missile sub?
                              2. If you were on a attack-sub, how successful were you sniffing out the Russian subs (and not having them know it). Reverse question if you're on a missile sub?
                              3. What psychological-profile difference that separates a submariner from a surface guy.
                              4. When the book "Hunt for Red October" came out, what did you think, real enough?
                              5. Do the Chinese-Intel try to hit on you?

                              Congrad. on your 20yrs.
