    Osan Air Base

I am looking to visit family stationed at Osan.

Any places or things I should add to a must see list???
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

My wife likes to stay at the Dragon Hill (military Hotel - R7R center) in Seoul, can they get you rooms there?

USO offers tours, have them / they can send you a list.

One of the USO tours is the DMZ, its a good (all day) tour.

The Dragon Hill is an outstanding place to stay if you're eligible. The Hilton is also a good spot, not too far from the base. There's a trail from the Hilton to the top of Mt. Namsan. You'll great a great view of the city from the Seoul Tower there.

Don't miss the Korea War Museum. It's just outside the Yongsan base.

I also would not miss the DMZ tour. It can be a challenge to get a reservation though.

The thing that I noticed at the Military Museum, other than the fact its pretty much dead and your the only people there is: The display signs are in Korean and English, ANYTHING that has to do with the Japanese, the signs are REALLY anti-Japanese. Were talking about signs CAST IN BRONZE, with really negative Japanese wording. I guess they will never forget.

I'm currently here, the Dragon Hill is gorgeous. If you can, do. Be prepared for humidity, look twice before crossing the street, and definitely get to the DMZ if you can. You will have fun in Seoul.
