    The Fake Soldier Apologizes

Find the latest military news, military jobs, veteran jobs, service benefits and military products on Military1.

He's a 22 yo high school drop out that couldn't get a high enough ASVAB score to enlist. He's not entirely right upstairs, and that's how most of these things are.

If you watch the entire thing I think the grandfather is an enabler.

Look old man, your grand kid isn't 8 anymore, and he can't even score high enough on the ASVAB. Maybe you need to steer him right to just make it through life.

I remember the guys that just barely pass the ASVAB and got in, and having to hold their hands. This guy just got a few less points.

Jeez. I almost feel bad for this guy now.

Seriously though, he can't pass the ASVAB so he just wears the uniform and pretends he's in the military? Pathetic.

^^^ That's what I was wondering. I went through basic with some guys that were pretty dense, but they were able to get in.

Edit: I will also add, if he thinks the Vets that confronted him were too "Aggressive", he would have had a hard time during basic. The charges against those vets should be dropped.

You can always serve the county without wearing uniform like working for USO and veteran homeless shelter.

suffers PTSD because of something that happend when he was three.

I seen some ROCKS go thru when I was in.
            But is he actually worse.

Or is it that the standards have risen because of the draw down.

            And as for PTSD.
Im willing the Vet's who hounded him have it too.. Anger issues

It looks like a 31 is needed with a Diploma (which he doesn't have), and when I signed up they weren't giving waivers with GED's (which then needs a 50). However the various MOS's need line scores of 90+ in their specializations.

Trying to show his support? Just how the heck does that mean wearing the uniform, tabs and all? Come the heck on, seriously.

Put a yellow ribbon on your truck, donate to one of the many many many charities. Don't try to use that as an excuse for your stupidity.

If he can't pass the ASVAB he is not an intelligent person. Not saying that in a derogatory manner either. Being slow I can't really blame him too much anymore.

50? What in the world would that qualify someone for?

it will get you qualified for more jobs than someone who scored a 31 or a 29. But they look at your line scores from my understanding i could be wrong.
