Magazines in the mail?

I was AD at Camp Pendleton and acquired a pile of extra 30rd AR mags... my question....Is there anything I should know before I attempt to put these in a box and mail them to my home of record in Michigan? Michigan has no mag restrictions. Thanks!

If you did not get them pre-ban, disassemble them while in Ca just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the advice... my wife is active duty still so the problem isn't the fact that WE are in possession of them... I just want to know if I can legally mail them home?

Mail them to yourself at your home of record.

I mailed them to a friend back home. No issues.
