in the Iraq museum of history, we went to clear it out and pull security for john McCain in 2009. he went in there to show how safe the city was for the cameras. they didn't record us, or record his hidden security team, or him putting on his body armor and helmet. snapped this quick pic before we left.

this picture was taken the day we left our FOB, no running water, no electricity, just MREs and bottles.

this is my favorite. my platoon sergeant took this one of us looking for landmines or IEDs around this house that we took mortar fire from. thats my buddy with the mine detector. this picture is actually framed up in our brigade HQ from the last i heard, which was about a year ago.

last one, our up armored abrams. that reactive armor is heavy as hell and extremely awkward to remove. you have to remove them in order to open up the skirts and service the track and road wheels
