This. Im sure you are well aware of strict budget cuts army wide. Lots of units dont even have the money for basic stuff that we usually get no issues.

Why is your amory not issuing out holster as well? Pretty sure they issue out cleaning gear and slings with the TO weapon as rifles, so they also do that with pistols,. What unit are you with? Might want to talk to the battalion gunner...

Apparently we are getting so my holster choices have expanded dramatically.

Hmmmmm, interesting.... Sounds like contractors are involved somewhere....

Just go for a shoulder holster with chest and belt adjustment.
