I was about to go there then mob got canceled. Ive heard nothing but "positive" things from there. Is it as bad as Roberts?

Better than Roberts, but not by much, humidity is brutal and more nasty bugs and snakes that try to kill you. Ranges are a bit better, although both pale in comparison to Robinson.

Was there almost a month back in 07 before wheels up.. the only good thing about that place was BBQ joint outside post and there was this Chinese buffet in town by that tiny *** mall...but yeah it pretty much sucked

That Place sucks! better facilities down range. I would opt for a COP in nowhere than shelby. Even better is the beat down barracks on North ft lewis.

one positive note, it is better than roberts. Barracks are made out of cinder blocks. You don't have to worry too much about inhaling all the asbestos like roberts.
