my sincere thanks to your son for his service, and to you for raising him.
If you suck with irons you will suck with optics. The difference is the aimpoint will allow you to suck faster and a scope will give you a closer look at how much you suck.
AR's have finally become full blown "men's barbie dolls" now with fashion accessories.

A rescue helo went down yesterday, all 5 were lost.. My son responded to the crash. This is hard. Thank you all for the kind words.

That pic is freaking awesome! RIP to the young men that went down in that helo. Looking forward to seeing the pic of you and your son hanging out when he returns home safely. Much love and respect to your family sir.

Details are still few on the helo that went down. News is reporting that it was a UH60 not the HH60 the AF uses. That's an easy mistake...plus the # of crew is wrong for an AF Pedro flight. Still a terrible day for so many families. I pray for them .

No, the show on NatGeo features Pedro 64 and 65 & their crews. My boy is on Pedro 24.

Actual weapon firing/running positions are hard to get as there are plenty of weapons troops (usually either weapon loaders or assemblers,) but very few positions for gun operators. Its a sweet job. Go Air Force!

If you feel the need to correct anyone in my thread.. I'd appreciate it if you would do it through pm.. It really takes the thread off topic.
