    Civilian ACUs?

Does anyone know of any type of pants out there that are identical (or as close as possible) as ACU bottoms? I know they aren't perfect pants but they weren't bad and for hiking and backpacking I'd love to wear a pair but I'm not wearing ACUs lol. I want them in solid colors. Thanks.

Check out some of these pants from Tru-Spec.

Also, check out 5.11's line of pants. I own a pair and they are great. They make a lot of clothes for LEOs and security.

Tru-Spec makes a Tactical Response Uniform that's cut very similar to the ACUs... they're popular with a lot of SWAT/SRT units in my area.

I was in civilians for the last year I was in the Army and I put these two brands through some pretty tough situations.

5.11 tactical the 100% cotton are nice and thick, the rip stop Polyester blend are pretty nice.
LA Police gear has its own brand and they feel like traditional ACU's just in solid colors, but they can rip like tradition ACU's

2nd VOTE for LA police gears operator pants they are very very similar too actual ACU's. I was having cargo pocket separation anxiety until I picked up a couple of sets. www.lapolicegear.com also has the 5.11's so you can check them both out. I will say having owned both the 5.11 and the LA police gear operator pants you cannot go wrong with the 19.99 La Police gear operator pants.

I love the Vertx pants. Don't know how they compare to ACU, got out during the transition.

I just got 4 pairs of the LAPG operator pants, their $20 BOB, a tshirt and a shemagh for $10.30 shipping.

                          YMMV
