    News

Hello everyone, I'm David and I'm stationed on the USS Asheville out of Point Loma. We go out today for about a month. Being a sub and all, we don't get internet like other ships do and the news/sports packages that they put together are very poorly done to say the least. I guess I was just wondering if anyone would like to copy and paste interesting and topical articles into an e-mail and send it to me at nguyendd@asheville.navy.mil. I can't receive pictures or links, just text in an e-mail. Thanks so much.

This is up there with the guy that I went to AIT with calling me out of the blue asking me if I would co-sign a car loan for him.

If he is on a sub I am pretty sure he knows what is and is not allowed to post. They require a secret clearance at the minimum to be on.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Oh for god's sake people, all he said is that he's going out. He didn't give the itinerary or anything. Besides, once she's past the hundred fathom curve, ASHEVILLE will become a silent hole in the water.

oh, another thing I would have done, is not hand out my Army.Mil address in this forum.

I would have made a fresh google account, had everyone here send it there, and then have a family member or personal friend of mine forward anything from that account to my military account.
