C&R Applications with "stationed" Active Duty

Hey, have any of you guys submitted an application for a C&R license while active duty and stationed in a state other than your state of residence? I'm a California resident and now stationed in South Carolina and I'd like to get a C&R but I'm not sure if they'll accept my application with a driver's license from one state and address from another or if I'd need to add a copy of orders or what.

Anyone here have any experience in this area? Wasn't quite sure whether to post this in the C&R forum or here!
