Considering all the press this guy got, including the NBC Nightly News, I'm surprised none of the news agencies found this out before they ran their story.

Who knows what his service record was like prior to the coke, etc., and I wonder if he got a bad conduct or general discharge or what.

Most likely an OTH... usually for drug pops we send them to a summary court martial, put them in the brig for a short time then administratively separate them under other than honorable conditions.

The only time dudes get bad conducts is when they are selling or something like that. But a first term Marine who pops on a pee test, adsep.

And it doesn't surprise me that the news doesn't fact check in depth before running a story like this. Not when they support the movement.

Honestly when I saw him, the whole thing smelled like he was some dirt bag.

I was in the Marines for 9 years. I got out and I tried to grow my hair long and it just didnt feel right.

I dont participate in events where I am begging for hand outs. I work for my money to support my family.

Everything about the guy, the long hair, the event he was involved with, etc. just didnt have the feeling of a true through and through Marine.
