There's a big difference between a motorcycle club and a street gang. I would expect that if you spent much time in a VFW you would see quite a few bikers "flying colors". Most of the "original" clubs were started by veterans coming back from the war that longed for the brotherhood that they found while in the military. You also have a fair amount of clubs that are veteran/military based i.e. Veitnam Vets, Legacy Vets, Leathernecks, Rough Riders (not DMX's version) to name a few. I guess my point is that I'm not overly surprised to hear that you may have seen a motorcycle club in a Legion, I would strongly suggest you not use the word "gang" in their presence though. Not saying they're "good guys", but not all those that wear a three peice are criminals.Do Not Demand What You Cannot Take By ForceComment

As a gang the Psychos have been gone since around 1964ish if I remember correctly. They patched over to Vagos. To the best of my knowledge nobody wears the psychos patch anymore.
There's a riding group called Moto Psychos that I've seen around the LA and Central Coast areas every once in a while. Dude, everyone is in a club. About 90 percent of everything you read or see is trying to convince you that you are in the wrong club. The civil rights "club" that many modern gun owners are part of was once considered a gang. Look at how the government portrayed the black and white freedom riders in the 1960's.
The gun rights movement - even though 100 percent law-abiding, often gets compared to thugs and illegal stuff.
Some of us - EVEN THOUGH WE BROKE NO LAWS - have risked jail time for our civil rights. The way society works is by identifying folks it does not like, and then calling them gangs. The ines who do the naming are the ones who make the rules. Been this way for about 4000 years or so. Nothing new.
