    Seabee shoot?

I would like to try and set up a shoot for our fellow Seabees and any other military personnel in the ventura county area. Pm me if you are interested and I will see about setting something up.

LOL oh man. I didnt think that that range was actually used, it looks like a left over relic from the Vietnam era.

Just curious, what unit are you with? One of the NMCB's or the 31st SRG? and where did you have in mind for the Shoot? The range on the PCH or what?

We were up there about 5 weeks ago when the big swells were coming in and over the berm. It all got flooded pretty good.

Where all depends on how many people want to do this. I am in the 31st and may be able to do the shoot there but no promises. I have other ideas but I am still waiting to find out a head count.

P.S. The flooding was cleared within a week but they are still finishing up flood damage.

My father-in-law is a retired RADM "King Bee". He's been a pivotal figure in getting the new SeaBee Museum built ... wonder if there is a possible promotional tie-in here?

I don't pretend to be an "authority." I'm just a guy who trains a lot, shoots a lot and has a perspective.

Man, where were you when I was still in Mugu...haha.

At least somebody is trying to set something up. Every time I did, I got told no, and because of constant deployments, I didnt have time to mess with it too much.

so far no one wants to participate. so it does not look promising.
