    thieves!!!

    /start rant

seriously wtf is wrong with some people. i went to the gym today and took off my reflective belt and looped my watch around it. i did my workout and left. 30min later i realized i forgot my belt and my watch. IT'S GONE!!! f'n vultures!!! i mean *****, we're at a deployed location... where's our brotherhood?!?!?! where's our integrity?!?!? there's only a few of us here and we see the same group of people every f'n day. of course i discretely mark all my ***** so i'll be on the look out for my watch and asking to inspect them.

lets be honest. we all steal pens, duct tape, leathermans, gear, etc. but most of the time it's from a shelf or stuffed in an box. but that stuff doesn't belong to an individual. stealing personal effects is wrong. dual standards, i know.

    k i'm done.

    /end rant

Sorry man. Unfortunately, thieves seem to be as much a part of the military as guns. When I left Iraq after collapsing my stuff was shipped back to me in the states minus a PSP and the games and movies with it. People suck, cant say much more than that.

Did you check with the staff/ lost and found? Maybe someone turned it in.
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.

that's the first thing i did. i checked the lost and found box but it wasn't in there. there is no staff to ask because the gym is pretty much a tent with free weights in it.

i tend to have faith that people are "good" until they prove me wrong. i was proven wrong.

I've had two reflective belts stolen- the last one was straight off my bunk. I keep a couple spares handy now. It's sad that I have to do that, but people are people the world over, and a lot of people are just ****ty people.

I think if the UCMJ allowed you to commit assault against gear thieves, there'd be a lot less stuff disappearing. Then again, the cornerstone of Marine Corps mission accomplishnent is institutional theft.

look out for the SGM who has nothing better to do than bother someone who does'nt have their PT belt in a combat zone.

                        sorry about your stuff.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

Sucks man they stole your stuff but you must have really had a sweet light belt that had magic powers. If a car hit you it would bounce off of you or you can shoot lazers out of it or something!!
