Along with MCAS Futenma, probably the best located base (for having a good time) on Okinawa. Naha is right out the gate and there's a beach by the base. The base itself is just a whole lot of warehouses/housing.Comment

Been to Okinawa once (1963) to off load a battalion of Marine's and load another before we headed south. But never got off the ship.
