Does anyone have a list of standard A uniform (fatigues and boots) manufacturers for both summer and winter?

I'm not quiet sure what you want then. Combat uniforms or Class As? Manufacturer doesn't really matter as long as it within spec/regs, as far as I know. AR 670-1 doesn't specify that uniform items worn must be produced by any particular company. I'm sure the Army probably gets them from multiple sources. ACUs don't have any manufactures logos on them that I'm aware of- Just care instruction (remember folks, wash your combat uniforms inside out, on a delicate wash cycle
). For boots (ACU), there are literally dozens of manufacturers, types, and styles.
What do you need this info for? If we know what and why, it may help us help you. You need to be a little more specific.

Belleville makes boots for all the services and their boots are approved by those services...

are you asking for Army ASU , ACU , or ACS? Im a bit confused . The army gets a good lot of their stuff from DSCP i believeWTB:
1)AR15 Aero Precision Skeletonized Lower
2)S&W 686 6in barrel ...686 No dash through 686-4
3) Saltworks M5 upper/lower set

I'm probably speaking a language from before your time. When I was in the Army, the supply chain was broken down into Standard A (preferred supplier) and Standard B (authorized secondary supplier). What I'm trying to find out is which companies are the primary suppliers of Army/Marine fatigues and boots. My old hot-weather fatigues and jungle boots aren't too useful for stomping around the woods here in Indiana.I'm not quiet sure what you want then. Combat uniforms or Class As? They were called BDU back in the day. Before that, they were just plain old fatigues, STARCHED (CONUS) stiff as a board with sleeves properly rolled.

Honestly, I just got a good pair of 511's with lots of pockets, and chose a non ninja color.
When I first saw the costs of uniforms at the PX for the ACU's I was disapointed that the price was on par with anything I could get as a civilain at any other uniform shop. Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.Comment

Especially at the quality level.
Honestly EOD, I would not suggest current issue Army uniforms for hard wearing outdoor use, if that's what you're looking for. The crotches rip out, they fray, there's loose threads poking out all the time, they stain, and the velcro wears out after a wash or two. And that's just the pants
You might have better luck with Propper Marine knock offs.
For boots, I highly suggest Bellevilles Hot and Temperate weather combat boots . I was issued a pair, and even after trying a few different brands of "high quality" boots (Oakleys, Altimas, Rockies) they're still my favorite, most hard wearing pair I own.

agree with above, they suck. it seems like quality has gone down hill. i bought a pair of 5.11 pants with built in knee pads, which lasted much longer and were very comfortable.

Thanks guys.
It's a little disturbing, but not unexpected, that they're issuing crap nowadays. We were issued a bunch of junk suitable for the Korean War that was useless but, it was quality junk.
