    Mustang

Officially hung up the stripes and the rockers for bars.

Terrible feeling leaving the NCO Corps, but great feeling being given the opportunity to command troops.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

Congrats! Should make some lucky troops a good Pl. I wished more officers came from the nco corps while I was in.

I think the best officers are always mustangs, it should be a prerequisite of your first commission to have spent a few years as an enlisted marine

They need to make a device to add to the rank for people who were enlisted prior.

                    The army has the:
                    NCO Professional Development Ribbon

I assume it's still allowed to be worn after a commission.

Congrats. However, I've always held the belief that prior enlisted officers come in two breeds: Those that treat the enlisted with respect and listen to their wisdom and knowledge since they have walked in their shoes. And those that treat the enlisted like complete garbage and hold them in contempt as they now feel as they are above them and won't acknowledge that came from the enlisted ranks.

This has been proven to me over and over, and unlike the regular officer corps, it seems there is no middle ground. Prior enlisted officers are either really great to work with/for, or they are the worst type of leader. Hope you are the former, rather than the latter. Good luck.

Most of my favorite officers are former enlisted. Niteqwil seems like a squared away individual, Id be happy to render a salute anyday! Congrats.
