It seems kind of shady, as they are 'recruiting' my girlfriend's dad and they've already 'promoted' him to a 1LT...The man is in his 70's. Can I contact somebody to investigate this? I've got some documents that seem fishy, one is from Minnesota, another is requesting signatures, one is a 'certificate'. All of them look printed off a regular printer..nothing really official. I can upload them if needed.

It seems to be a scam. Much similar to the other one you posted. I looked at the "division" commanders and they all seem to be asian, with a few exceptions.
Also their "HQ" looks to be a residence.

I think its scam.

The California division is out in the little Vietnam section of Sacramento. I hope they are legit. Brings back flashbacks to the Good Guys Shooting back in the early 90's ( I was a first responder there when it happened).

This is a scam.
They basically pitch to recent immigrants that you can speed up your immigration application by joining the military. Specifically, their military.

Googling the cert number from above document 20101108495 you can find the pdf file linked.

If you google : 20091079604, you don't find any PDF document.

I don't know if they made a fake one, or if they don't keep these on file, but I still find it fishy that it's from the State of CO, and we live in Modesto CA.

That's also a certificate certifying documents, but what?

Here is the "Certificate" with the 'promotion'...by the way, the man is Buddhist, and it was handed out at a Buddhist temple...

Notice the "given under my hand" part? In Windsor CT? My gf's dad has never been to CT.

The " you " is smudged in the upper right hand corner, because it's printed on photo paper.

Anything else fishy, that I, being a non mil person wouldn't be able to spot? Any phrases ring a bell that they may have copied?
