    College

I am going to be back in garrison soon and I want to get some more college classes completed. Before the Army I was working on getting my AA in Business Management and one day I want to get by BA. I started going to University of Phoenix before I deployed but I need something more flexible. I loved the 5 week long classes but I want to be able to take one class and then be able to stop taking classes when I go to a school or deploy. Do you guys know of any colleges that accept TA that fit that?

I would take a look at American Military University.
We are an online university that offers affordable, accredited, and career-focused programs with monthly class starts.

Check out post university... they gave me 66 semester hours for my AARTS transcripts alone. Books are free, can take up to 6 classes per fiscal year... so you would probably be able to double up on classes until October.

Thanks for the responses. AMU looks pretty good. It would be nice to be able to go to school on post but that isn't really an option. I live about 30 minutes from post and have a new born baby.

AMU definitely, classes are offered in 8 week or 16 week sessions, definitely flexible, my only gripe is I wish I started utilizing my TA earlier on in my career, since I am EASing in a year.

I take classes through Central Texas College. 8 Week semesters are nice.

National University, most classes are on nights and weekends and completed in 4 weeks

all correspondence internet all the way up to MBA and military friendly will accept 75% of transfer and military credits.

While active they schedule classes anytime after you get out you have to do it by semester.
                  Good luck.
