    VA Education benefit question

Please, if anyone here knows chime in.

I am currently enrolled for spring semester using the Post 911 GI Bill (CH 33). While I am still in school, I was wondering if I can use my GI Bill to pay for my Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) classes. I checked with several schools and they are all certified with the VA as well. Is it possible to get this paid for while already using my GI BIll in college?

    Thanks!
For a combat soldier, the difference between success and failure is your ability to adapt to your enemy. The people that we deal with, they don't care about the rules. All they care about is a result. My job is to stop them from completing their objective, at all costs.

AFAIK, They have to be in line with the major you declare and your education plan. 'm majoring in Mechanical/Nuclear engineering and The GI bill won't pay for welding courses while I'm pursuing my major.

You can apply for a tutoring money, I dont believe they verify who/where you are paying money. We were told in our TAPS class just to apply for it. I havent personally done it, but I dont see why it wouldnt work.

Tutorial assistance is available if you’re receiving VA educational assistance at the half-time or higher rate and have a deficiency in a subject that makes tutoring necessary. You can be reimbursed up to $100 per month, up to a lifetime maximum of $1200.
