It's going to end the haircut standards for the miitary.

Women are allowed to have collar length hair, men have short hair so what length hair are trannies allowed? Does it matter which direction they are changing from or to?

That reminds me. About a month ago, I put a female soldier at Parade Rest and informed her that her mustache was out of regulation.

I remember a few years back watching some TLC on trannies. Actually they kinda are different. It isn't so much a male/female thing. It's been a long time since Ive seen it so I'm not exactly sure on all the facts. But basically a tranny has the genetic makeup of the opposite sex as far a mentally. And physically they have the opposite gender. It's actually scientifically proven that true transexuals have genetic makeups to make the metally the opposite sex or what not. It was pretty interesting, I always kind thought bein a Trannys was choice. But not after watching that documentary.

Yeah once you get passed "they deserve to serve too"(which they always have) and "they should be able to serve openly"(we didn't want to know but now they are forcing themselves on us).....You can now start going into a whole different complexity of special needs because "just being gay" is not the end of it. It goes real deep. Deeper than any outsider looking in would ever understand. No...I will not explain 15yrs of service and how this is a huge issue.

its going to be a logistics nightmare. If the sexual harassment standards dont change, all a hetero guy has to do is claim sexual harassment in the berthing. All the military guys know what I mean. Utter those words, and you are pretty much done. It also creates a double standard as has been pointed out. If gays can bunk with the gender they are attracted to, why cant straights do the same?

All this for a statistically insignificant number of the overall force, that was already allowed to serve anyway.

Well it is t so much propaghanda as much as scientific fact. But I agree with Stockton. I don't understand how a tranny could pass a psych test. It doesn't matter what the sexuality is. If they are one gender mentally and one other physically. Hos is that person mentally capable of being in the armed services. They def don't belong there IMO. And not cause sexuality but I'm sorry that's just not a healthy human being lol.

What I see coming is a chasm between the warriors that actually fight and the rest of the military. Clerks and jerks shuffle paper and I really don't care what their sexual status is as long as soldiers get paid and otherwise taken care of. The gunfighters are a different breed. Women, gays, lesbians and even transexuals can pilot a Predator drone, work on or even pilot an aircraft, navigate a ship, haul supplies, or even be an MP. Until our potential enemies quit using only males to fight face-to-face with us, our warriors will have to be male. The infantry, cavalry and armor are the only troops that go looking for a fight. Everybody else gets into a fight by accident. Anybody can kill the enemy in self defense, but takes a trained warrior to chase the enemy down and kill them.

I have wondered about a Spec-ops battalion of menopausal women that could be dropped into an enemy HQ to nagg the enemy to death.....

Let's be real here... physiologically, the female frame is not suited for close combat. The shoulders are typically more narrow than the hips, so a heavy load is not easily carried. The pelvis is wider, so not well suited for walking with heavy loads. Males, typically, are the opposite. Women are generally smarter than men, and more suited for technical work. Ever heard of "hunter or gatherer".

I don't know what DoD is going to do with this whole mess, but it seems to me it's a tremendous waste of time, effort and money when we are short of all three.

You know how when you counsel a female (if you're a male) you always have someone else there in case they claim sexual harassment or something like that...now with DADT repealed you'll need to do that with everyone.
