Home Depot and Lowe's offer a 10% military discount any day of the year, not just on holidays. Least the one's where I live do.

Get down to your county Veteran Service Officer and talk to them about this ahead of time. We ended up paying a year of tuition because our oldest made just a hair over their (roughly) $12,000 limit.

Well I'm gonna give my kids the choice of either they go to college under this program or they join the military.

Thought I'd let you all know that GM is also offering their GM Military Discount to military retirees in November. If you're interested in buying a new eligible vehicle, go to http://bit.ly/9hkhDn to learn more. Hope everyone has a happy and safe Veterans Day. Thank you to all the vets for your service!
